We all know that contrary to popular belief, video games can make the world a better place. In order to accomplish that, GAME (UK) and Activision have teamed up alongside Xbox Live to help raise money for the War Child charity (LINK).
The War Child charity is an organization that was founded to help protect children in war zones. This means that while you're playing Modern Warfare 2 on Afghan this weekend, you'll be helping the children of Afghanistan who have seen the real destruction of war in their backyards. All you have to do is log onto Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live (UK Only) and get your game on during this coming weekend (12/5-12/6).
This fundraiser also begins right in time for the Free Xbox Live Weekend. That means everyone can join in the fun and raising of money/awareness, even you Silver Members.
